Polk County, NC, is requesting qualifications for a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the new Polk County Community Recreation Center - YMCA. The project site is situated on the south side of East NC Hwy 108, at the intersection with Fox Mountain Road in Columbus, NC. Complete information for the Requests for Qualifications can be found on the Polk County website, PolkNC.gov. Submissions are due by 1:00PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. This will be a qualification-based selection, and Polk County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals which, in its judgment, are not in the best interest of the County.
