The New Orleans Aviation Board (NOAB) is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide on-call plumbing services at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. 1. Backflow Inspections and Repairs Perform annual inspections and testing of backflow preventers. Complete necessary repairs and replacements as requested. 2. Water Jetting, Cabling, and Vacuum Truck Services .Provide both emergency and scheduled services. Services shall include high-pressure water jetting, mechanical cabling, and vacuum truck operations for: Sewer mains and manholes . Grease waste lines o Domestic wastewater lines 3. General Plumbing Services Perform repairs and maintenance on piping systems, valves, and plumbing fixtures. o Services may be required for both interior and exterior systems, above ground only. 4. Emergency Call-Out Services .Respond to emergency or unscheduled service requests within two (2) hours of notification. Minimum Qualifications To be considered for this contract, the Contractor must meet the following minimum requirements: At least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in commercial plumbing maintenance. Proven ability to perform plumbing services in a commercial or industrial environment. Possess a valid business license and hold all licenses and certifications required by state and local plumbing codes. Maintain active insurance coverage, and adhere to the Airport's Insurance Requirements (see attached - signature required). A Payment/Performance Bond in the amount of 50% will be required. The City of New Orleans/NOAB reserves the right: (1) to reject any or all quotes; and (2) to waive any informalities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
