The purpose is to obtain competitive pricing for the construction of rock reefs to provide an improved estuarine habitat in the Banana River, according to the specified plans, specifications, and permits. All work must comply with the referenced contract documents, including modifications, agreements, addenda, drawings, specifications, and permits. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference/site visit for bid responsiveness. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, properly marked with the solicitation number and time of opening. Digital submissions are not accepted. Questions regarding the project must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Manager by the date specified. Subcontracting should reflect diversity, and accommodations for disabilities are available upon request. Bids received after the specified date and time will be rejected. Contact with executive or legislative branch employees regarding this solicitation during the process is restricted, except as provided to the Procurement Manager. As FWC equipment will be used to access the site during the Site Visit portion of this meeting, please RSVP to the Procurement Manager, no later than the date/time specified above, notifying FWC that the Vendor will be attending the Site Visit. Please note that there will be a cap of Three (3 representatives from each Vendor for the Site Visit. Vendors who do not RSVP will still be able to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting, but will not be able to participate in the Site Visit The Commission has an estimated budget for this project of $3,000,000. Substantial Completion shall be ninety (90) calendar days and Final Completion shall be fifteen (15) calendar days thereafter.
