JVWCD owns multiple properties where the landscaping consists primarily of turf grass. JVWCD desires to replace this turf grass with water-wise landscaping. This project consists of removing turf grass from the areas specified on the drawings, excavating as needed, planting new shrubs throughout the project area, installing new irrigation lines to service the new and existing plants, and laying rock mulch over the project area. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, money order or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price payable to the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the contract, provide evidence of worker's compensation insurance, and furnish a satisfactory faithful performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price and a payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price.
