Site work, paving, outdoor lighting and new construction of a stadium in Corpus Christi, Texas. Design plans call for the construction of a 125,000-square-foot, 3,500-seat stadium; for site work for a stadium; for outdoor lighting for a stadium; and for paving for a stadium.
The new facility will provide a main event floor with a U-shaped bowl to hold approximately 1,234 fixed chairback seats and 728 fixed bleacher seats. The program also includes a range of support spaces designed for spectators, athletes, and events. Spectator amenities feature a welcoming lobby, ticketing windows, and a first aid office. Athletic support areas include locker rooms and an athletic training room, while event support facilities encompass suites, broadcast support space, storage areas, and a loading dock. Two multipurpose rooms offer flexible space that can be adapted for various uses, such as activity overflow, officials' changing rooms, or post-game press conferences. As of October 27, 2025, this project is part of the approved fy 2026-2030 Capital Plan. As of October 27, 2025, information regarding construction document completion timeline has not been released.
