The City of Springfield is seeking qualified contractors to perform Job Order Contracting services for roofing services and related work at facilities and locations under the City’s jurisdiction. Work under this contract will be detailed in individual Job Orders, and the contractor must complete the specified work for the agreed Job Order price within the established completion time. This contract is an indefinite quantity construction contract, allowing for ongoing projects at different city locations. The contract documents include a Construction Task Catalog® with pre-priced tasks, and contractors will submit bids using adjustment factors for both prevailing and non-prevailing wage projects, applicable during normal and other working hours. Contractors will attend joint scope meetings with the City to review proposed work, after which the City will issue a Request for Job Order Proposal. Contractors must then submit a proposal that includes pricing, a construction schedule, a list of proposed subcontractors, and any other documentation required. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best, responsive and responsible bidder, based on the evaluation criteria. Payment will be made upon completion of the detailed scope of work within the agreed job order completion time, with any extra work or changes handled via change order.
