Demolition, site work and paving for a civil project in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The work consists principally of the removal of the existing concrete culvert and replacement with a 3-sided single span precast concrete span unit structure supported by micropiles (to rock) on spread footings, as well as associated highway approach work and stream work. The project also includes the relocation of approximately 200 linear feet of water main, requiring coordination with the water departments for the Town of Barre and Albion. Construction will take place on the existing alignment, with an unsigned off-site detour to maintain traffic during construction. The described scope is a general outline and should not be interpreted as a complete description of all work required. Bids must be in writing, submitted on furnished forms, and accompanied by a bid guaranty not less than five percent of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds and insurance as specified. All bids must include a Non-Collusion Statement. Only those who have purchased contract documents directly from Orleans County are permitted to submit bids. The use of NYSDOT approved civil rights reporting software, Equitable Business Opportunities (EBO), is required. The project has specific goals for SDVOB, MBE, and WBE participation, as well as minority and female employment goals.
