Site work for a water / sewer project in La Porte, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
NOTE: Signed copies of Addendums (1-4) must be included with bidding documents. The project consists of the relocation of several water main and sanitary sewers due to the proposed Tipton Bridge installation. The work includes installation of three water main relocations and several sanitary sewer main relocations and service tie-in adjustments. Additional work includes concrete sidewalk, concrete curb, and asphalt pavement repairs. Bids must be properly and completely executed on the provided Bid Form and be accompanied by the required documentation and bid security. Each bid must include a certified check, cashier's check, or acceptable bid bond for 5 percent of the total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds each for 100 percent of the contract price. The City of La Porte Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to waive informalities and to award or reject any or all bids to the advantage of the City of La Porte. Question Deadline 10/17/2025 The individual submitting the request shall be responsible for prompt delivery to the Engineer. To be given consideration, written requests must be received by the Engineer at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids.
