Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Glasgow, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The project consists of the removal of the existing pedestrian bridge and construction of a replacement pedestrian bridge at the south end of the parking garage between North Race Street and North Green Street in downtown Glasgow, KY. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum with unit prices included for the purpose of change order negotiation when necessary. The City of Glasgow reserves the right to award the bid based on consideration of all factors and not solely on low bid for the lump sum portion. Question Deadline 11/26/2025 2PM All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
