Bids are invited for approximately 22,500 feet of 4-inch water main with related appurtenances (base bid and alternates). Bid/Contract Documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications, are available at civcastusa.com. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety is required for contracts exceeding $100,000. In lieu of the Bid Bond, a certified check or bank draft payable to the County of Wood or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) may be submitted. Not less than the federally determined prevailing wage rate, as issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Affairs and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. The successful bidder must ensure no discrimination in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or national origin.
