Scope of Services Valley Water is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide on-call plumbing maintenance services at facilities throughout Santa Clara County. The selected contractor will furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, repair, and emergency response for plumbing systems. Services will include repair and replacement of piping, fixtures, and equipment; drain cleaning by cable and hydro-jet methods; sewer line camera inspections with digital reporting; backflow prevention testing and certification; leak detection; water heater and sump pump maintenance; and 24/7 emergency plumbing response. Contractors must hold a valid California C-36 Plumbing Contractor license, DIR registration, and demonstrate a minimum of seven years of institutional plumbing experience, including the ability to respond to emergencies within two hours.
