Site work for a water / sewer project in Woodbridge, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project includes installation of a lined drying bed at the West River Water Treatment Plant, inclusive of an underdrain system to collect leachate. A pump station will be installed to collect drying bed leachate and precipitation and pump it up to the existing lagoons. Additionally, a force main connecting the pump station to the lagoon influent piping will be installed, along with lagoon desludging pumps in each lagoon. All Bidders are required to complete a Confidentiality Agreement prior to reviewing or purchasing Bid Documents and/or attending the mandatory Pre-Bid meeting. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders, payable to the South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority in an amount not less than 5 percent of the Bid amount. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional Bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents. Bidders and Subcontractors must hold or obtain such licenses as required by Connecticut State Statutes, federal and local Laws and Regulations. Attention is called to requirements of non-discrimination in employment practices, conditions of employment, and minimum wage rates to be paid. Bidders may not withdraw their Bid within 90 calendar days after the date set for receipt thereof.
