Paving and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Framingham, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.
The scope of work includes all material and labor to replace the exterior ceiling/roof of the underground tunnel with an asphalt roof. General or Roofing Contractors are invited to submit sealed bids for the project. Bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit not less than five percent (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount, considering all alternates, and made payable to Framingham State University. Bid forms and contract documents are available via email at no cost and may be viewed at the Framingham State Business Office, but not removed. A mandatory site visit walkthrough will be scheduled by email request or phone. A 50% Payment Bond is required within 10 days of contract award. The University reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any bid if it deems it in the public interest. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to amartin16@framingham.edu.
