Site work for an educational facility in East Hartford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade educational facility.

**As of January 21th, 2026, the project was awarded to Nelts of CT, LLC, with an awarded amount of $24,410.75.** The scope of work is to provide landscape services, including spring and fall cleanup, pruning trees and trimming shrubs throughout the season as needed, weekly lawn maintenance and mowing. Additional services may be required for plantings or emergency tree or shrub removal. All bidders must submit a cost proposal using the provided form. Lump sum and time and material estimates are required, with specific, non-negotiable markups for materials (no greater than 15%) and subcontractor costs (no greater than 5%). Equipment rental will be compensated at actual rental cost with no markup. Question Deadline 10/22/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Online - Q&A Bidders must demonstrate previous relevant experience--preferably including three examples (up to five) from the last ten years of comparable size and scope, with an estimated contract value of $15,000. The proposed team's qualifications and relevant staffing experience are required. The University reserves the right to request additional information or resumes for key personnel. Required documentation includes: SEEC Form 10, Bidder Contract Compliance Monitoring Report, and, if applicable, a Supplier Diversity Certificate. The draft contract is included, and by submitting a proposal, bidders accept all terms, including any modifications determined by the University. No bidder exceptions to the contract will be considered. Instructions to bidders: Participation by Small, Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Disabled-Owned businesses certified by Connecticut's Department of Administrative Services Supplier Diversity Division is encouraged. All RFIs must be submitted through the HuskyBuy sourcing event Q&A Board; no direct calls or emails. Bid opening is via virtual conference upon request prior to the due date. The lowest responsible bidder with required qualifications, managerial and technical capacity, and integrity will be awarded the contract. Standard wage rates set by the Connecticut Department of Labor apply; it is the bidder's responsibility to monitor and comply with wage updates. All required forms must be completed and submitted as part of the bid. The University may modify or waive contract terms as deemed to be in its best interest.
