** As of November 7, 2025 project has been awarded to Smith Sondy Asphalt Construction Company, Inc. but no amount available.** The scope of work within the base bid generally consists of milling, resurfacing, spot full-depth pavement repair, spot curb repair, and reconstructing/resetting of all storm, sanitary, and utility structures along Mills Avenue within the Borough of Norwood. Bids must be made on Standard Proposal Forms in the manner designated and required by the Specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of bidder and name of project on the outside, and must be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit and a certified check or bid bond for not less than ten percent of the amount bid (not more than $20,000.00 nor less than $500.00), and a consent of surety from a surety company authorized to transact business in New Jersey in a sum equal to one hundred percent of the amount bid. Signatures must be in ink and in longhand. Bids should be mailed or hand-delivered directly to the Municipal Clerk, Borough of Norwood. Bidders are required to comply with Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity requirements, New Jersey Business Registration, and all provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law. Proof of business registration is required for contractors and all subcontractors. All bidders must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor.
