Demolition and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Knightdale, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
Contractors are to demolish and reconstruct the restroom facility at the Community Pool located at 202 Milburnie Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. The work includes demolition, construction, concrete work, septic installation, and roofing. Bids must account for all project manual specifications and construction drawings, available electronically upon request. consists of demolition, construction, concrete work, septic installation, and roofing. ALTERNATE 1: Add Polyaspartic floor coatings to the restroom floors. ALTERNATE 2: Add new steps and railings in existing pool ALTERNATE 3: Provide complete resurfacing of pool interior, liquid applied. ALTERNATE 4: Provide and install synthetic turf in areas as noted on the drawings. All contractors must have required licenses as per state law. Each proposal must be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, certified check, or a bid bond amounting to not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal, conditioned upon contract execution. The Town reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, and will award the contract to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder considering quality, performance, and specified completion time. Bidders must submit completed minority business participation forms and relevant affidavits as attached to the bid documents. Failure to submit required forms may result in bid rejection. Q/A:- Submit all questions via email no later than 5:00PM on Friday, October 17, 2025. An addendum with questions and answers, if necessary, will be published on the Town's website by 5:00PM on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
