Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is inviting consulting firms to apply to be placed on a quick response consultant source list to provide “as and when required” professional services related to commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional construction work required by the Department of National Defence, at CFB Esquimalt and will cover all CFB Esquimalt satellite sites, including CFMETR Nanoose, CFAD Rocky Point and CFS Masset on Haida Gwaii. DCC plans to establish a source list for Multidisciplinary Architectural and Engineering consultant services including, but are not limited to, the following: Architectural and Engineering work of various disciplines such as structural, mechanical, electrical, materials, transportation, building envelope, and code compliance. Minor Civil works in support of other Architectural and Engineering services only, including roadway construction, pavement, new concrete installations, in/above ground service installations, drainage and shoreline erosion control and other works civil in nature; Specialized consultant services for the installation of fencing, fuel tank and related piping/accessory replacements, and inspections of various building architectural, structural, and other engineering services; and/or Specialty Consultants including traffic/transport and programming consulting. Only consulting firms with offices within 50 km of CFB Esquimalt Dockyard (located in the Township of Esquimalt, B.C.) will be considered for inclusion on the list. NOTE: If a firm or any other associated company as defined in section 256 of the Income Tax Act ((1985, c. 1 (5th supp.), has more than one office or division within the radius mentioned above, only one office or division may apply for inclusion in a source list. Each source list will be established for a period of two (2) years with an estimated maximum value of up to $600,000 for each source list. Individual commissions under a source list should be between $5,000 and $75,000. The maximum value of a commission is $100,000. DCC reserves the right to suspend or extend the use of a source list at any time. The establishment of a source list does not constitute a commitment by DCC to spend the maximum estimated value of $600,000 for each source list.
