This project includes the manual brushing of approximately 14 hectares on three treatment units located in the East Kootenay Operating Area (Baribeau and Moyie) and are within +-70 km of Cranbrook. Manual brushing includes cutting all competing vegetation within a 1.5m cylinder around the bole of crop trees in accordance with the contract treatment specifications. All specific information regarding crop trees species, heights, target vegetation and other important information is included in the Appendix I - Brushing Prescriptions. There is a minimum production requirement of satisfactorily treating 4 (four) hectares per workday, or as established by mutual agreement in writing by the contractor and the Ministry Representative, prior to commencement of operations. Expected time frame for brushing operations is beginning of June 2026, and no later than July 15th for completion.
