This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in New York, New York. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.
Requirement contract for maintenance painting of apartments at Berry Houses, located in Queens-Staten Island Neighborhood (QS04), Staten Island. Instructions include that no bid security is required. The contract term is three years with an option to extend for up to two one-year renewals at NYCHA's discretion. NYCHA intends to separately solicit and award a series of eleven requirement contracts for maintenance painting of apartments, with an award limitation allowing only one requirement contract per contractor in the first instance. NYCHA may, at its sole discretion, award up to one additional contract in this series to a contractor after initial awards if contracts remain unawarded. Bidders must submit their responses through the Electronic Procurement system and include company name, address, contact details, and response validity. Vendors are required to participate in NYCHA's MWBE Utilization Plan and complete or request a waiver for the Utilization Plan at the time of bid submission or at least seven days prior to the due date. Failure to comply may deem a bid non-responsive. Section 3 REO & OEO Plans and MWBE Utilization Plan & Waiver must be submitted via eComply and not included with the bid submission via iSupplier. Detailed and additional information can be found in the solicitation series attachments. Pre-qualification requirements: A bidder must pre-qualify as an Approved Supplier via the NYCHA-Paint Pre-Qualification List (PQL) and appear on the active approved vendor list. Depending on the value of the Contractor's bid adjustment factor, enrollment of Authority residents as apprentices may be required. The contractor must comply with the Section 3 (Apprenticeship Program) requirements as outlined in the Special Notices and Conditions. Section 3 REO & OEO and M/WBE Plans must be submitted via eComply, and all vendors must participate in NYCHA's MWBE Utilization Plan or request a waiver by the specified deadlines. Failure to complete these requirements or submit a waiver may deem the bid non-responsive. Assistance for eComply and vendor diversity submissions is available from NYCHA's support teams.
