Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Guilford, Indiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.
The proposed construction will include the removal of the existing concrete bridge deck, bridge rail, approach bridge rail, mudwalls, and bearings at the bents. Additional work will consist of end bent conversion to semi-integral, installation of new beam bearings, concrete deck, approach slabs, bridge railing, approach railing, full depth pavement replacement; and all incidental work required, as specified in the Contract Document and Plans. Pre-qualification requirements for the project: Contractors submitting bids shall be prequalified by the Indiana Department of Transportation in work type D(a) to be eligible to bid on the project.
