Sand Asphalt Materials In accordance with Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 262, Subchapter C, the Commissioners Court of Panola County, Texas will receive sealed bids on the following items for use by Panola County: Material & Supply Items Estimated Annual Quantity Road Oil (cracked fuel oil) 100,000 tons Corrugated Steel Pipe Culverts 30 pipe Polyethylene Corrugated Culverts 3000 linear feet Gravel 2000 yards Used railroad tank cars/flat cars 4tank/4flat cars Concrete/iron ore 2000 yards Crushed Limestone 2000 tons Diesel and Gasoline 50,000 gals/40,000 gals Asphalt Materials 100 tons of oil sand Asphalt Materials 100 tons of hot oil sand Asphalt Materials 100 tons of hot mix asphalt Bids will be received at the Office of County Judge, Room 216-A Panola County Courthouse, Carthage, Texas 75633 until October 7, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at which time bids will be opened in the Commissioners Courtroom, Carthage, Texas during a regular session of the Commissioners Court. Bids are to be on the unit price basis no bond is required. Panola County does not have a purchasing agent therefore contact the County Judge at (903) 693-0391. Contracts will be awarded to the successful bidders in accordance with the above mentioned chapter of the Local Government Code. Payment will be made by check after receiving the products or services provided to the County and upon approval of the invoices or statements by the Commissioners Court. The County will not be obligated to purchase the estimated quantity or any particular quantity during the year. The Court reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids.
