The work includes removal of existing coating systems and applying new coating systems as specified to the interior and exterior of the 1.5-million gallon all steel elevated storage tank, including all necessary appurtenances. Proposals must be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total maximum proposal price as a guarantee to enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within ten business days after notice of award. The successful offeror must furnish performance and material and labor payment bonds in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price from an approved surety. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informality in proposals received.
