Renovation of a laboratory facility in Port Isabel, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade laboratory facility.
Noble Texas Builders is seeking subcontractor proposals for the UTRGV Port Isabel Marine Ecosystem Research Facility project. The scope of work is divided into two bid packages, with current proposals being accepted for Proposal Package 2 (Finish-Out). The work includes exterior and interior demolition, structural steel and FRP furnishing and installation, millwork, flashing and joint sealants, doors, frames and hardware (material only and install only), aluminum storefront and windows, drywall and acoustical, various types of flooring, painting, polished concrete flooring, Division 10 specialties (material and installation), window shades, fume hoods and casework, jib crane, fire sprinkler system and underground service, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communication cabling, IT allowance, fire alarm system, security (video, access control and intrusion), landscape and irrigation, fence and gates, parking lot stripe and signage, segment and retaining walls, and utilities (domestic water, sanitary and storm). Proposals must include the Proposal Package as issued with the bid documents. Plans, specifications, and Proposal Package forms will be available for electronic viewing through AGC-Harlingen, Virtual Builders Exchange, Building Connected, and Construct Connect. This is a tax-exempt project. MBE/WBE/SBE/DBE/HUB certified subcontractors and suppliers are encouraged to submit proposals.
