The successful bidder for the turnkey construction service is required to provide all the necessary licenses, permits, structural coordination, all delegated design, labor, personnel, supervision, transportation, materials, tools, supplies, equipment, machinery, signage, warning tape, barricades, lights, insurance, and any other ancillary item(s) or resource(s) needed to perform the demolition of 2636 Fountain View per the specifications and requirements noted in Exhibit A Scope of Work. Project includes: Environmental Testing of 2636 Fountain View Drive, Houston TX, 77057 Removal and disposal of hazardous materials Removal and disposal of any thing left in the building (desk, chairs, cubicles, and any other items or trash) Demolition of the structure designated as 2636 Fountain View Demolition of the carport structures surrounding 2636 Fountain View Removal of all debris related to the structure and carports; and, Removal of all dirt and concrete related to the structure of 2636 to bring the site to level grade. Deadline for the submittal of questions: October 27, 2025, 4:00pm The Houston Housing Authority (HHA) and HHA Fountainview PFC has issued this solicitation with the intent to establish a contract with a qualified company to provide HHA with construction services required for the demolition of 2636 Fountain View Drive, in accordance with the requirements specified herein. Houston Housing Authority (HHA) and its affiliates and subsidiaries, are governed by the Housing Authorities Law, codified in the Texas Local Government Code. It is a unit of government, and its functions are essential governmental functions. HHA operates and manages its housing developments to provide decent, safe, sanitary and affordable housing to low-income families, the elderly, and the disabled, and implements various programs designed and funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). HHA is a Public Housing Agency. The property of HHA and its affiliates and subsidiaries is used for essential public and governmental purposes, and its property is exempt from all taxes, including sales tax on all its purchases of supplies and services. HHA and its affiliates and subsidiaries enter into and executes contracts and other instruments that are necessary and convenient to the exercise of its powers. HHA and its affiliates and subsidiaries maintain contractual arrangements with HUD to manage and operate its Low Rent Public Housing program and administers the Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments programs. HHA's programs are federally funded, and its revenues are received from federal funds, administrative fees, development grants and rental income. HHA and its affiliates and subsidiaries provide affordable homes and services to more than 60,000 low-income Houstonians, including over 17,000 families housed through the Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP), 4,200 living in 19 public housing and tax credit developments, and an additional 716 in project-based voucher developments around the city.
