The City of Akron, Ohio is seeking qualified Engineering Consultants to provide professional services for the Water Main Replacement Program 2027. The services shall consist of survey and drafting for the development of water main reconstruction plans and a quantity take off for approximately 15,000 feet of water main for a project consisting of the replacement of chronically breaking and deteriorating water mains to reinforce the water system and to improve system reliability of operation, increase pressure and flow, and improve water quality. Water main replacements shall be performed in-place and in-kind on the streets and limits specified on the Water Main Replacement Program 2027 Priority List. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
