Annual inspection and testing of fire alarm systems is required at thirteen Indian Health Service (IHS) health care facilities across North Dakota and South Dakota. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to perform comprehensive inspections and tests in accordance with NFPA 72 standards. Tasks include verifying system components such as control units, annunciators, batteries, alarm and supervisory signals, emergency voice alarm communications, notification appliances, auxiliary functions, and various initiating devices including smoke and heat detectors. Testing must be coordinated with facility managers and monitoring organizations to avoid unnecessary emergency responses. Upon completion, systems must be restored to normal operation and certified by qualified personnel with appropriate credentials (e.g., NICET, NFPA). Deliverables include inspection reports and records of testing, submitted within specified timelines. The contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order with a base period from May 1, 2026, to July 31, 2026, and four option years extending through July 31, 2030.
