Site work for a water / sewer project in Murphysboro, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Separate sealed bids are requested for the construction of Main Trunkline Sewer Repair and Sanitary Sewer System Repairs. Bids are to be submitted with a certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds at par value, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid. Not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents must be paid for this project. The contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. All proposals must be made on forms furnished by the Engineer. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond satisfactory to the City of Murphysboro in the amount of the contract. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
