West Rocks middle school - Norwalk public schools. TIMELINE As of August 31, 2026, this project has been placed on hold due to funding per the architect. The project will be submitted for a state funding grant in December 2026. Design services will be competitively bid for the project in early 2027. There has been no contractor / construction manager acquired for the project, and this service will likely not be acquired until next year as well. Construction is not expected to begin until 2028 with the school anticipated to open in the fall of 2030.
