*As of December 16th 2025, this project has been awarded to Inshallah Mechanical Corp* Capital Improvements at Hommocks Middle School Location- 130 Hommocks Rd Larchmont, NY 10538 Any questions regarding the bid process and technical questions shall be directed to LAN (Attention Mr. Christopher Bechtler) in writing or by email to christopher.bechtler@lanassociates.com. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check payable to Mamaroneck Union Free School District or by a Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid as set forth in the Bid Specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check made payable to the Mamaroneck Union Free School District or by a Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. Bidders may not withdraw their respective bids for a period of forty-five (45) days after the bid opening date, unless otherwise authorized by law. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the District further reserves the right to reject bids that contain conditions, omissions, exceptions or modifications, or in its sole discretion to waive any irregularities in the bids, or to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid which in the opinion of the District is in its best interest. Document Note: Checks or money orders shall be made payable to Mamaroneck Union Free School District. Plan deposit is refundable in accordance with the terms in the Instructions to Bidders to all submitting bids. Any bidder requiring documents to be shipped shall make arrangements with the printer and pay for all packaging and shipping costs. LAN Job #4.1092.95.02 The Work consists of the construction of various improvements at the Hommocks Middle School. 1. The Work includes, but is not limited to, architectural, structural, interior walls, floor and ceiling finishes, door, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work as shown in the Contract Documents. 2. All materials, assemblies, forms and methods of construction and service equipment shall comply with the requirements of the latest edition of the New York State Building Code. 3. Remove existing doors, walls, partitions, benches, wall tiles, toilet accessories, flooring, casework, roll up security gates, and ceilings as shown on the contract documents. Remove existing server items as indicated on the contract documents and save for reinstallation. 4. Remove existing ceiling diffusers/grilles/registers, ductwork, roof top unit, air-cooled condensing unit, VAV's, hangers, and equipment as shown on the contract documents. 5. Remove all plumbing fixtures, hose bibbs, existing domestic piping, sanitary piping, gas piping, and floor drains as shown on the contract documents. 6. Remove all existing lights, fire alarm devices, hand dryers, clocks, and speakers as shown on the contract documents. 7. Provide and install new doors as shown on the contract documents. 8. Construct new partition walls, wall infill, and wall furring as shown on the contract documents. 9. Provide and install new movable partitions and associated structural support as shown on the contract documents. 10. Provide and install new counter tops, benches, divider panels, and accessories as shown on the contract documents. 11. Provide and install new flooring as shown on the contract documents. 12. Provide and install new acoustic ceiling tile and gypsum board ceiling to be used in both standard and food service environments as shown on the contract documents. 13. Provide and install new floor and roof openings as well as fire rated chases to allow for installation of new ductwork drops as shown on the contract documents. 14. Provide and install new structural support and modify existing structural elements for installation of new mechanical work items as shown on the contract documents. 15. Provide and install new roofing elements and roof work to allow for the installation of new mechanical work items as shown on the contract documents. 16. Provide and install new plumbing accessories as shown on the contract documents. 17. Provide and install new HVAC equipment, ductwork, diffusers, registers, grilles, etc. as shown on the contract documents. 18. Provide and install new plumbing fixtures as shown on the contract documents. 19. Trenching and infill of the existing concrete subfloor to install new sub-surface piping as shown on the contract documents. 20. Provide and install new domestic, gas, sanitary, condensate drain and vent piping, fittings, valves and insulation as shown on the contract documents. 21. Provide and install electrical lighting fixtures, receptacles, switches, fire alarm devices, hand dryers, exit signs, speakers, lighting controls, etc. as shown on the contract documents. 22. Perform all electrical work as required for the renovation of the Cafeteria and installation of the equipment as shown on the contract documents. 23. Provide and install a new 1,200A panel to replace the 1969 MDP adjacent to the loading dock as indicated on the contract documents. (Being performed under a separate contract) 24. Perform all electrical work as required to support the new HVAC work. The following additional requirements for the Contract 95-02c - Plumbing include, but not limited to, the following: 1. The Plumbing contractor shall furnish, install and connect all plumbing supply, sanitary, and storm lines inside the building and to 5' (five feet) beyond the exterior building wall. 2. Removal and proper disposal of all debris. 3. Provide all excavation and backfill for trenches inside building walls associated with their work. 4. Supply access panels/doors to be installed in walls, floors or ceilings to General Contractor for General Construction-Contract 95-02a to install. 5. Provide starters to Electrical Contractor-Contract 95-02d, installation to be by Electrical Contractor. 6. Protection of work after installation. 7. Plumbing connection to equipment furnished by any other Contract. 8. Temporary Water: Provide temporary water service as noted in Section 01 50 00 Temporary Facilities and Controls. 9. Install fixtures waste, vent, gas, water and other items for equipment provided by other Contracts. 10. Trades shall identify the locations of required blocking for installation by General Contractor-Contract 95-02a. 11. Firestopping. 12. Temporarily remove, carefully store and reinstall existing hung ceiling panel assembly as required to access areas of work within plenum. 13. Each contractor, prior to being awarded the contract shall prepare and submit a Preliminary Master Project Schedule for their Work. Within (3) weeks of NTP all Prime Contractors will provide a coordinated Draft master schedule. 24160
