Site work and paving for a road / highway in Stockbridge, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The intent of this invitation is to obtain competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors for asphalt milling, and hot-mix asphalt placement for resurfacing of East Atlanta Road, from Cotton Indian Creek Bridge to Fairview Road. This includes but is not limited to traffic control (including temporary striping), asphalt patching, milling (2 inches), resurfacing, the placement of bituminous tack, and placement of pavement marking. Bids will only be considered by those bidders and subcontractors currently pre-qualified with the Georgia Department of Transportation. All Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid for the complete work. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to Henry County, Georgia as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen (15) calendar days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. The Work on this project shall be completed within One Hundred Twenty (120) calendar days after receipt of the written Notice to Proceed. Henry County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities. Question Deadline 10/22/2025 at 3:00 PM ET Online Submission.
