Virgin Valley Water District (the "District") is seeking sealed bids for certain construction or work to be performed referred to as: WELL NO. 33 REHABILITATION PROJECT (the "Project"). The Project is to be performed within the City of Mesquite, Clark County, Nevada and Lincoln County, Nevada (Well No. 33 is located in Lincoln County). The following is a summary description of the Project: The work of this contract includes, but is not limited to, Conduct a well rehabilitation of Well No. 33 located north of the City of Mesquite, Nevada in Lincoln County. Well No. 33 is 20-inch diameter, 1,400 feet deep, with intermittent screens between approximately 718-1,358 feet. The Work includes but is not limited to, removal of existing pump/column/shaft/motor, furnishing a new pump and column/tube/shaft, video camera survey(s), well cleaning and redevelopment treatment, disinfection treatment, final video survey, install new pump/column/tube/shaft and Owner supplied motor, and startup testing. Question Deadline 10/23/2025 at 5:00 PM PT Questions regarding the project shall be submitted through online. Bids must be submitted on the documents provided and must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the Bid. Pursuant NRS 338.147 or NRS 338.1389, as applicable, a Bidder seeking to qualify to receive a "preference in bidding" must submit a Nevada State Contractor's Board Certificate of Eligibility evidencing the preferential status. Said certificate must be attached to and submitted with the Bid. The District reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to waive any informalities or minor defects in a Bid in the District's sole discretion to the extent allowed by law. The bidder will be required to show qualifications (see NRS 338.1377) to complete the project. Any award will be on the basis of the lowest responsible Bidder, unit price, conformance to plans and specifications, Bidder's qualifications, full and accurate completion of the Bid documents, the extent to which the District judges the Bid to be in the best interests of the public (338.143(5)(c)), and other appropriate factors as may be permitted by Nevada law. If the estimated cost of the project exceeds $250,000, then the award will be to the Bidder who submits the "best bid" (see NRS 338.147)
