The project involves the installation of approximately 68 new 1" water services with meter pits to the existing transmission water main along portions of South Roberts Road, Miller Road, and East Main Street (NYS Route 20). Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. No pre-bid meeting will be held. RFI's will be accepted at the office of the Engineer to the attention of RJ Green via email: RJGreen@CPLteam.com. If necessary, an Addendum will be issued by 5:00 p.m. (Local Time) on October 30, 2025 from the office of the Engineer. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified bank check or bid bond from a domestic carrier licensed to do business in the State of New York in the amount of not less than five (5%) of the amount of the bid submitted. Security for Faithful Performance: The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds written by firms licensed to do business in New York State, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amounts in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Executive Orders 11246 and 11375, which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin.
