Prior to submittal of the Bid, the City Treasurer must approve both the financial institution and text of a Letter of Credit. A Cashier's Check or a Certificate of Deposit shall be payable to the City Treasurer. Bid security shall likewise continue for the same ninety (90) days unless earlier released by the City. The City desires that Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women's Business Enterprises (WBE) have a maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of City contracts. The goals for this specific project are twenty percent (10%) MBE participation and zero percent (10%) WBE participation.
