Snow plowing bids must be submitted on a yearly/seasonal cost contract. Sander pricing should be quoted per load. Snow removal must be completed by 6:30 am Monday through Friday, and by 7:00 am on Saturday and Sunday. Snow mat cleanup and removal are included in this process. Sanding is required for the elementary driveway, with the remainder to be spread at the high school. Contractors should state any days they are unable to plow. The contractor may be called out during the school day or on weekends as needed. Areas requiring plowing/removal include all parking lot areas, sidewalks, playground area, loading dock/kitchen entrance, the main driveway and walkway from Elevation St for the elementary, and all parking lots, sidewalks, entrances, egress doors, bus pick-up/drop-off area, loading dock area, and driveway from Campus Drive for the high/middle school. All covered entrances must be cleared and back blading done if necessary. Gates and entrances/exits must not be blocked. Snow will be moved to a designated area to minimize drifting. The contractor is responsible for repairing any property damage to school property. Proper insurance must be maintained throughout the contract and proof provided with the bid. All drivers operating on school property must have valid licenses or permits.
