Site work for a water / sewer project in Puxico, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Separate sealed bids are requested for the sandblasting and painting of the interior of the water tower to serve the City of Puxico. The specifications for the project can be examined or obtained from the City of Puxico at Puxico City Hall. The City of Puxico reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 60 days after the bid opening. All bidders are notified that businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals are given full opportunity to submit bids, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. This contract is subject to labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws, and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, The Work Hours Act of 1962, and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
