Renovation of a multi-residential development in Billerica, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.
The project consists of the renovation of two kitchens in one building, including the removal and replacement of cabinets and countertops, windows over the sink, plumbing fixtures, and kitchen appliances. The work also includes upgrades to lighting and electrical power, and the painting of existing gypsum wallboard. All bids must be submitted electronically at biddocs.com. General bids and sub-bids must include a bid deposit not less than five percent (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount, including all alternates, made payable to the Billerica Housing Authority (no bid deposit required for projects under $50,000). The contractor and all subcontractors are required to strive to achieve workforce participation benchmarks of 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities, in accordance with statutory requirements.
