Site work and new construction of a warehouse / distribution facility in Piper City, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,522-square-foot, one-story above grade warehouse / distribution facility.

The project is for a new storage building for the Piper City Fire Protection District at 14 N. Pine St., Piper City, IL. Bids must be submitted for general construction work, which includes all work. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder is required to provide a performance and payment bond for the full contract amount within two weeks after contracts are signed. The wages of employees must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in bidding. Supply all labor, transportation, apparatus, scaffolding and tools necessary for the completion of the Work; maintain and remove temporary equipment and construct in excellent and workmanlike manner the complete Work and everything properly incidental thereto, as stated in the Contract Documents or reasonably implied therefrom. It is not the intent of the Contract Documents to set forth in detail every item necessary for the construction of this Project. Contractor must be qualified for this work and must, without direction, furnish and install everything necessary to provide construction complete and in acceptable order, ready for use without additional work. All parts must be coordinated, complete, ready to operate and delivered to Owner in new condition. B. This Project is the New Storage Building for Piper City Fire Protection District at: 1. 14 N. If any person contemplating submitting a bid, is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the plans, specifications or other documents, he may submit to the Architect a written request for an interpretation thereof. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery. B. Any interpretation of the documents will be made only by an Addendum duly issued, and a copy of such Addendum will be mailed or delivered to each person issued a set of Bid Documents by the Architect and to such other parties as have requested that they be furnished with a copy of each Addendum.
