Site work for a residential development in Baltimore, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development.
Cursory site inspection revealed a minimum of 300 SF of lead painted exterior brick wall at the South (side) wall of 605 S. Washington St. along Fountain St. - Remove all paint from the masonry exterior using "Peel Away" method or equal - Alternate methods may be proposed for approval if the aforesaid is ineffective due to weather or conditions. - Ensure that all bricks and mortar joints are completely cleaned of paint residue - Wash/rinse the affected wall area with mild acid and finally water when completed - Provide all ground, air and water protection methods to prevent spread of paint or cleaning compounds. - Obtain necessary sidewalk closure permits, work and disposal permits. - Prepare required manifests and submit chain of custody for waste to MDE if/as they require. - Perform all necessary notifications according to Local/State/Federal requirements. - Coordinate & obtain clearances with MDE and/or EPA as required by above including any testing needed. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, protection, disposal, supervision and (all) incidentals needed to remediate the lead paint (all paint on brick) at the exterior surfaces of the South wall at 605 S. Washington Street in Baltimore. The Contractor shall supply any/all necessary resources as well as provide insurances, permits, inspections and clearances required to complete the work items listed below as requested by HABC, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including but not limited to: Baltimore City, State of Maryland (MDE, MOSH), EPA, HUD, HABC & OSHA.
