As such, it is responsible for carrying out all silvicultural work on public lands and manages a budget of approximately $275 million per year. Rexforet entrusts the execution of the work to several hundred forestry companies located in all administrative regions of Quebec. Its operations mainly involve contract management and supervision of the work carried out. The Ministere des Ressources naturelles et des Forets (MRNF) and Rexforet are pursuing a strategy of awarding contracts to retain the services of suppliers capable of providing the required services for several years. The services of several suppliers will be retained in this call for tenders. This call for tenders is being conducted in accordance with Rexforet's Policy on Contract Terms and Conditions (the Policy) and the Rexforet Supplier Registry Registration and Exclusion Manual (the Manual), which are presented as reference documents. DESCRIPTION OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED As part of this call for tenders, Rexforet is seeking suppliers for non-commercial silvicultural work as described in the Quebec Silvicultural Guide or related technical data sheets for a period of three (3) years (2026-2029). Site treatments using various equipment Artificial regeneration treatments using forest seedlings of various sizes, produced bare-root or in containers Thinning treatments in various types of stands: plantations, young coniferous, deciduous or mixed forests Sanitation treatments in various types of mixed stands BUDGET TO BE DISTRIBUTED AMONG SUPPLIERS The estimated annual budget to be distributed is approximately $134 million. Please note that an envelope of approximately $6 million, earmarked for technical work, will be added to the $134 million budget to be distributed among the selected suppliers. The latter will have access to a portion of this additional amount, depending on the volume of technical work required for the silvicultural work entrusted to them.
