Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction approximately 13 LF of 6-inch HDPE, 486 LF of 8-inch PVC, 49 LF of 12-inch Ductile Iron, 435 LF of 12-inch PVC, and 590 LF of 12-inch HDPE water main using open-trench methods in northwest Bexar County within City of San Antonio and City of San Antonio ETJ at six (6) project sites for the 2023 Dead End Water Main Elimination and Geronimo Loop PRV Project. The Geronimo Loop site will include installation of an 8" pressure reducing valve (PRV), including PRV pad, electrical, and SCADA work in addition to the replacement of an existing 12" PRV and electrical and SCADA work for the replacement valve. Sealed bids to consider the additional project requirements: traffic control, tree preservation, storm water pollution prevention plan, and coordination with TxDOT, Bexar County, and the City of San Antonio. The aspirational SBOP goal on this project is_18% Electronic bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
