Site work and paving for a road / highway in Shelbyville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Project is located on S Morgan Street from S Second Street to Main Street and S First Street from S Morgan Street to approximately 220 feet east of S Morgan Street. Proposed improvements include HMA paving, HMA surface removal, pavement removal, storm sewers, removal and replacement of PCC sidewalk, concrete curb and gutter, PCC driveway pavement, decorative lighting, and other work to complete the project. Proposals shall be submitted on forms furnished by the City to the Office of City Clerk and shall be enclosed in an envelope endorsed with the project section number. The right is reserved to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities. Proposal guarantee of 5% of the total bid price will be required. Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the public body of the Illinois Department of Labor shall be paid to all laborers, workers, and mechanics performing work under this contract. Pre-qualification requirements: Prequalification of bidders will be required.
