Site work and paving for a road / highway in Leesville, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
Separate sealed Bids for Tom Beckcom Road Improvements will be received. Work consists of asphalt roadway rehabilitation on Tom Beckcom Road as detailed in the plans. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in an amount of five percent (5.0%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, in the stated form in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents. The successful Bidder shall furnish a Performance and Payment Bond as described in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents. The bidder is required to comply with provisions and requirements of LA. R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). No bid may be withdrawn for forty-five (45) days after receipt, except under provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Article 6 of the General Conditions, as modified by the Supplementary Conditions, sets forth requirements as to performance and payment bonds, other required bonds (if any), and insurance. When the Successful Bidder delivers the executed Agreement to Owner, it must be accompanied by required bonds and insurance documentation, using forms included in the Bidding Documents. Work Classification: Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. Electronic copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from Meyer & Associates, Inc., and a document deposit is not required.
