Description

This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

Scope of work: The contractor shall be required to furnish all supervision, equipment, labor, material, and all applicable licenses and permits necessary to provide for the supply, cleaning, testing, and certification of water treatment systems serving cooling and heating equipment, including: cooling towers, boilers, hot water systems, chillers, chemical bypass feeders, automatic dosing pumps, and water treatment chemicals at various pgw locations. This contract shall also include water treatment remediation services. The purpose is to maintain optimum conditions in the water to prevent corrosion and pitting of the metal surfaces. These services should also prevent deposit formation on these surfaces and provide biological control of water systems.
