Nysdot Region - 05 This project will fund the bridge cleaning program for SFY 26/27. Bridges are cleaned to diminish future need for maintenance by removing salt and debris to prevent corrosion, improve drainage and ensure bridge bearings are free of contaminants in various locations within Erie and Niagara Counties. County : Erie The current status of the project is Future Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Fall 2026. Construction is expected to begin in Winter 2026/2027. Construction is expected to be completed in Spring 2027. As of October 11, 2025, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2026. NYDOT - Bridge Cleaning; Erie & Niagara Cos; Sfy 26/27 *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
