**As of November 26, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The project consists of site drainage mitigation at J. Spencer Smith Elementary School. Bidders are required to use and complete all bid forms and comply with every requirement specified in the instructions and specifications. Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not exceeding $20,000. All bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, and all bids must include certificates proving such registration, as well as Business Registration Certificates for the bidder and all subcontractors. Compliance with "The Law Against Discrimination" and Affirmative Action is required. The project may be funded in part with grant monies from the New Jersey Schools Development Authority (SDA), and contractors must agree to be bound by the terms of any applicable Grant Agreement issued by the SDA. No bidder who is on the State Treasurer's or Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Bidders shall be eligible to bid. Bids are to be submitted in sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the project name, to the Tenafly Board Office. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the requirements. The Tenafly Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any minor informality in the bidding process, in accordance with the law, if it is in the best interest of the Board of Education. No bid shall be considered accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Tenafly Board of Education.
