Two of the shelters are 8 W x 8 L and one of the shelters is 15 W x 20 L. Power (100-200 A, 120 V, 50/60 Hz) must be provided to the air monitoring stations. Each site shall include the installation of a cement pad and walkway built to State approved specifications. Security fencing must be installed at each site, if not already provided by the landowner. The larger site must include parking spaces. The air monitoring shelters will have ladder/stair access to the roof, so the area over the station must be clear of obstructions or power lines. The Air Pollution Control Division (APCD)/Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) anticipates using a Design/Build Entity approach to project delivery where the Design/Build Entity will design, manage and construct the project.
