The Division of Operations at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum has identified a requirement for physical plant operations, maintenance, and electrical support across its Washington, DC metro area facilities. These include the Museum building, the Ross Administrative Center, the Office Suite at Portals III, and the Shapell Center in Bowie, MD. The scope of work emphasizes the protection of artifacts and the safety and comfort of visitors and staff, requiring the highest standards of operations, maintenance, and repair. The facilities' interior environment and operating parameters must be precisely maintained, with HVAC systems functioning optimally at all times. Continuous, 24/7 environmental conditioning and utility services are essential to preserve the asset value of the facilities and reduce operating costs for the Government.
