Performing the necessary earthwork excavation to cut canal to appropriate grades for aggregate base and shotcrete placement and off-haul of all excavated material. Furnishing and installing imported aggregate base to be placed and compacted to 95% compaction prior to shotcrete placement. Furnishing and installing of 400 LF of shotcrete canal lining reinforced with wire mesh. Furnishing and installing wall drains with check valves and drain panels on the North canal bank. Complete and continual dewatering of the canal and project site during the entire project duration. Installation of one reinforced concrete canal access ramp. Demolition and off-haul of approximately 120 LF of 12" PVC pipe up to a point of connection with a 12" HDPE canal drain pipeline, cutting the pipe to flush with the new shotcrete lining.
