Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Drake, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed work includes the construction of 2.8 miles of a 12-foot-wide trail surface of aggregate material along the Rock Island Corridor, and other required appurtenances. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction 2025, 2nd Edition - October 2025 including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The DBE goal for this project is 0%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project. The Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder who provides the lowest price complying with the Conditions of the Contract Documents within the Owner's budget. MODOT - Constructing Rock Island Trail QA date - 11-6-2025 All questions concerning the bid document preparation can be directed to Howe Company, LLC at 660-395-4693. Project specific questions can be directed to the engineer that signed and sealed the documents at 660-395-4693. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening
