Scope of Project: 1. Approximately 45,000 CY of Unclassified Excavation and Placement of Fill 2. Approximately 113 lots of Moisture Conditioning 3. Erosion Control to Support Excavation Bids are to be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. The successful bidder must enter into the contract and execute the bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days after receiving contract documents. Bidders must register on www.CivcastUSA.com to view and/or download specifications, plans, soils reports, and environmental reports for the project at no charge. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding except for the time of submitting a bid. The successful bidder will be the responsible bidder which, in the Board's judgment, is most advantageous to the District and results in the best and most economical completion of the project. The contract may be terminated if the contractor knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with the requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code.
